The Visconti Van Gogh Prisoners’ Round Fountain Pen takes its inspiration from one of Vincent van Gogh’s most emotionally powerful late works. The painting depicts prisoners walking in an endless circle within a walled courtyard, and Visconti translates that somber atmosphere into a pen with cool, layered blue and grey tones.
The acrylic resin body has natural variation from pen to pen, giving each piece its own pattern and depth. Gold-plated trim adds contrast against the darker palette, while the faceted Van Gogh design gives the pen a distinctive sculptural feel in the hand.
The fountain pen is fitted with a large stainless steel nib with a gold-tone finish and is available in Fine, Medium, and Broad. It uses a cartridge/converter filling system and closes with Visconti’s magnetic cap.
Each pen is individually numbered and comes presented in a special Van Gogh gift box with artwork inspired by Prisoners’ Round. A 30 ml bottle of blue ink is also included.
