Visconti Inkwell Bottled Ink for Fountain Pens - Blue

The Visconti Inkwell Bottled Ink in Blue (50 mL) is part of Visconti’s redesigned ink line, where the focus is just as much on usability as it is on presentation. The bottle itself is made from thick glass with a slightly weighted, stable shape, so it sits securely on a desk without tipping easily. The large cap is color-coded to match the ink, giving it a clean and recognizable look.

One of the more distinctive features is the internal ink collection system. Inside the bottle, there’s a small cylindrical reservoir that gathers ink when the bottle is tilted or inverted, allowing you to fill a fountain pen even when the ink level is low. This design helps reduce waste and makes refilling more consistent compared to standard bottles.

The ink itself is a classic, well-balanced blue with a smooth flow. It’s dye-based and designed for everyday writing, offering consistent performance across different nib sizes without being overly saturated or flashy. The overall feel leans toward a reliable, traditional blue, paired with a bottle that’s clearly designed with practical use in mind rather than just appearance.
