Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 Blue Parker Style Ballpoint Refill

The Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 (Blue) is one of the most popular upgrades for Parker-style ballpoint pens because it uses a hybrid “liquid ink” formula. This gives you a writing feel much closer to a rollerball smoother, darker, and more fluid while still keeping the convenience and reliability of a ballpoint.

It comes in the standard Parker G2 format, meaning it fits a wide range of pens including Parker, Pelikan, Diplomat, Retro 51, and many others. The refill typically uses a ~0.7 mm (medium) tip, with a stainless steel point and large ink capacity, making it suitable for everyday writing. 

One of its biggest strengths is instant start and smooth glide, even after the pen hasn’t been used for a while. Compared to traditional oil-based ballpoints, it feels significantly less “scratchy” and produces a richer blue line. However, because the ink is lower viscosity, it can be slightly more prone to smudging or occasional leakage if handled roughly or carried tip-down in a pocket.
