The CK #6 Stainless Steel Nib (JoWo) – Fine is a high-quality replacement nib commonly used in Conklin and Monteverde fountain pens. It’s manufactured by JoWo (Germany), one of the most respected nib makers, known for producing reliable and smooth-writing steel nibs.
The fine (F) nib size delivers a controlled, precise line, ideal for everyday writing, note-taking, and smaller handwriting. Compared to medium nibs, it produces a thinner line with slightly less ink flow, which also helps with faster drying times and better performance on standard paper.
Being a #6 size nib, it’s one of the most common standard sizes in fountain pens and is compatible with many pens that accept JoWo #6 nibs or nib units. However, compatibility depends on whether your pen uses just a nib or a full nib unit (with feed and housing), so it’s important to check before swapping.
